I've actually made some progress within this project because I've been trying to get my friends and family to donate to the cause and many of them are aware of what is happening. I've gotten a lot of my teammates aware of the situation at hand and they all are supporting me and helping with the cause. I've fund raised some money from donations by my family and friends and will be able to donate all of it towards helping the problem at hand. I've also progressed because I started thinking about emailing the Zoo's around the country to help raise awareness and create a bigger network of people to help the cause .
I finally researched what the poachers traps looked like and i've never been so disgusted with humanity. The first thing that showed up when I looked up 'poacher traps' was a picture of a tiger lying on the ground....dead. I was aware of what kinds of devices they used, but wasn't aware of how much damage the actual traps did. I saw many pictures of tigers caught in the traps, helpless and hurt, unable to defend themselves because they are in such agonizing pain. There were also pictures of elephants showing the deep wounds in their legs. In pains me to see what people are doing to these animals.
