This week I've decided to send out emails to multiple zoos around the country to see if maybe they were interested in helping the cause. Although they are probably already aware of the incidents happening around the world, sometimes young teens like myself can help push them to do something about it. I've recently emailed the San Diego Zoo, Houston Zoo, Panaewa Rainforest Zoo, the Honolulu zoo and also the Wildlife World Zoo. I felt that the San Diego Zoo is such a big organization that they have the funds and the knowledge to help with saving these animals. I've also felt to spread awareness to those closer to home. I know for a fact that the Panaewa Zoo recently got three new tigers and if they are willing to get these new cubs, they could be open to spreading the word at their zoos in hopes of getting more donations by the people around the zoo. Some of these zoos didn't have direct emails, so I filled out the contact info and told them in the concern/message part about the who I am and what i'm doing.
Many times people overlook what we're doing as humanity. We use these animals in nature for our personal benefit and if they have no purpose to us directly, we just kill them off as if they mean nothing. Raising awareness does just as much as donating money because with more people on the look out, more people will be able to help these creatures thrive on.
